Hi, my name is Fabian Irsara, I'm a multimedia designer, with a focus on web-development, based in Innsbruck

This site contains an archive of my photos. It's a personal portfolio to showcase my work.

Although I'm not considering myself a professional photographer. There's really much more to it than i can offer!
Photography is just a passion of my life. It gives me inspiration for my further work as a designer. Going out for a walk and capture everything that gets in front of my lens simply helps me getting down for a few hours outside of the daily stress we all struggle!

first steps

The ways of getting into photography differ for everyone. For me it actually wasn't exactly a real choice I made!

I can still remember being a child, looking through all kinds of lenses that crossed my path, either the one of a camcorder we had at home, or the old analog camera of my dad, lying around the house!

Somehow it always fascinated me having the power to store a moment for future reflection of good old memories through the simple push of a button.

At first I took the equipment I got at home to try myself out. Indeed the results weren't a quarter as good as my actual work.
But everything needs it's start! And for me at that time it was good enough.

But as it's usual the case, with time, as I became older, the infantile claims grew with me! And so did my photographic skills and my eye for all the interesting and extraordinary stuff around my world. Even though there was a time in my life where I used to barely photograph anything, I retrieved my joy in this art in my youth.

Nowadays I'm pretty glad that happened, because from the very first moment for me, taking a picture, was fun and made me happy. And still it does!

taking it further

I was early fascinated by technology, computer science and programming

So it didn't take long that i started out to write my own code.
In the beginning everything I did was some kind of trial and error! But later on I got comfortable with all the bits and bytes!
Nonetheless all the apps I wrote back then were more or less useless, I simply wrote them for fun!

With time I discovered my Interest for design, starting with 3D. I really wanted to create that stuff I've seen from others myself. But it was a tough match, since noone watched over my shoulders, giving me advices help!
Still I kept working hard in the hope to get a job in that field one time.

Then, some years ago, with the beginning of my training as a graphic designer in Innsbruck it turned out that there was even more out there I wanted to achieve. My free time for creating 3d-visuals became less and less, but with it my joy for graphic- and webdesign grew!

Today I think I've come to a good point in combining everything I've learned so far!

My background in graphic design helps me enhancing my photographic quality!
The coding I did back in my youth enables me to create individual apps in webdesign I couldn't come up with otherwise!

So as mentioned before I'm not only fascinated by photography. And who knows where I am in a few years?
